01 — About Me

About Me

It was 1996. I was 12 when I met my first computer — and fell for it instantly. Not long after, I broke it trying to make it faster. Almost three decades on, that same obsession still drives me: making complicated things feel effortless. Today it takes the shape of an 18-year career as a Senior Software Engineer across banking, real estate, and aviation.

Now I'm at LATAM Airlines, working on one of Latin America's largest e-commerce platforms. In an IT organisation of ~400 engineers I'm the person teammates come to when the code needs to be right — not just shipped. In 2025 I received LATAM's Service Leaders award, which quietly confirms what I've always believed: you can lead without giving up the keyboard.

What's next? Ideally Auckland — I spent late 2025 there studying English at NZLC and fell completely for the city, its people, and its culture. I'm looking for a company willing to sponsor a work visa (my immigration advisor makes that part painless). Conversations with teams elsewhere are also welcome. Outside of engineering, I create audiovisual content — from motion graphics to video production. I use After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop to tell stories through moving images.
